Goal

Our mission is to educate the members of the IAFF, the public and our legislators in Hillsborough County on the issues that are important to firefighters and emergency personnel, and to actively provide endorsements for initiatives and political candidates who demonstrate a commitment to public safety and for the well-being of front line personnel.

Philosophy

Hillsborough Fire Fighters endorsements are grounded in a candidate's position on issues relating to our profession as firefighters and the public's safety. We proactively support the position that electors have the right to vote for the candidate who represents their own views and political philosophy. However, if there is a tipping point where guidance is being sought for a candidate consider the one with our endorsement.

We Support individuals who support firefighters, regardless of the party affiliation
